How to check our work

  • Tags are heuristics. Objections are matched from the decision text by fixed rules, not inferred by a model. Each match stores the sentence and page it came from, and both are shown, so you can verify it against the published PDF before you rely on it.
  • Policy Manual text is verbatim and cited by section, so you can read it at uscis.gov rather than take our word for it.
  • The corpus is public. Every decision here was published by USCIS. Nothing in this index comes from a client file. Data and method.
